![]() FAFSA Completion Night!!!!Rio Rancho High School will be offering a FAFSA Assistance Night to help graduating Seniors and parents complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). A representative from New Mexico Educational Assistance Foundation along with representatives from UNM will be available to answer questions and assist with the application.
The event will take place on Wednesday, January 30th from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the RRHS Media Center. To complete the application students and parents may need to refer to: Social Security Card, Driver's License, tax forms from previous year, bank statements, mortgage information, investment records etc. To speed up the process both student and parent can obtain their PIN number to the application in advance at: http://www.pin.ed.gov If you would like to review general FAFSA information visit: www.fafsa.ed.gov Refer questions to Gage Romansky at gromansky@rrps.net. ![]() 2012-13 ACT Prep ProgramOmniac Education and Rio Rancho High School are proud to present the RRHS ACT Prep Program for the 2012-13 school year! The program is intended to help students become "college ready" by raising ACT scores. The ACT Exam can be a formidable experience for many high school students but this unique course can help you master the tests and do your absolute best! This program is intended to prepare students for the February 9th, 2012 ACT Exam.
Program Summary:
Leadership / Scholarship Opportunity for Current Juniors!!!Great Opportunity for Juniors The Rosemont Leadership Institute (RLI), in collaboration with the University of New Mexico (UNM) and New Mexico State University (NMSU), is selecting exceptional high school students for enrollment in its flagship scholarship program. RLI invites applications from high school students who plan to attend UNM or NMSU, are passionate about building their leadership skills, addressing national/global issues, and becoming agents of change. The program is open to high school juniors and enrollment is limited to 30 students. Interested high school juniors should apply through their high school guidance counselor or download an application at rosemontleadership.org. Applications are now being accepted through Friday, January 11, 2013. Rosemont scholars who complete the program will receive a $25,000 grant towards the cost of their education. The program will provide students with the training, financial resources, global awareness, and professional networks needed to succeed in a competitive and knowledge based world. How to Qualify
